Bob Lowery, Jr., resigned as Assistant Chief of Police of the City of Florissant this evening and was immediately appointed as City Administrator for the City of O'Fallon, Missouri. Lowery, has been involved in law enforcement for the past twenty five years. Besides his position in Florissant he is also the COmmander of the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad. In addition he holds several federal appointments given to him by the Department of Justice and the FBI. He is resigning all those positions to concentrate on the City of O'Fallon.
Lowery and his wife, two daughters and son have been residents of unincorporated St. Charles County for the past 15 years. His father, Robert Lowery, Sr., is a former Chief of Police of the City of Florissant and ios currently serving his second term as Mayor.
Lowery starts his new job on Thursday morning.
