MOBIL CUTS OFF CITY FOR GASOLINE BILL NON-PAYMENT

LOCAL RETAILER GIVES CITY CREDIT FOR GAS FOR POLICE CARS

The First Capitol News has learned that the Mobil Oil Company has refused to give the City of St. Charles any more credit because of non-payment of bills. When police officers tried to use the City credit cards to purchase gas for the police vehicles Saturday they were unable ot obtain fuel. Emergency arrangements were made with a local retailer to allow the officrs to obtain fule until the bill is paid.
